Curious from an early age after having been exposed to Jazz (Miles Davis and Billie Holiday) and Brazilian MPB & Bossa Nova while still very young led Dimitri to explore Acid-house and Ibiza at the age of 14, quite by chance. Jumping forward to 1995 Dimitri was assisting DJ Sasha in the studio, then co-managed and ran Roger Sanchez's Narcotic Records. Followed by agency and management work then press, PR and radio work in 1997/1998 with POP Promotions culminated in co-managing TIP records and 10 Kilo Records. Since 2004 Dimitri has been exclusively DJ'ing around the world, most notably holding strong followings in Japan (http://www.bigbeach-fes.com) and Brazil. A regular on tour with Sasha, Layo & Bushwacka! and Luciano amongst others.... While in the studio the focus is mainly on remix projects, such as the successful remix partnership with Gabe and Riktam.
